ALL deposits and savings are safe and secure at Bishopstown Credit Union.  Bishopstown Credit Union members enjoy the safety and knowledge that they have the protection of the Irish League of Credit Unions (ILCU) Savings Protection Scheme as well as the Government's Deposit Guarantee of up to 100,000 euros per depositor.

DEBIT Card

Bishopstown Credit Union is the first credit union in Ireland to offer its members a DEBIT card.  Operating from the funds you have available, this card is not a CREDIT card.  Members will not receive bills.  Instead members will receive instant text alerts informing them of transactions that have taken place and their currrent balance.  To apply for a DEBIT card please call into your local branch.

Worldwide access to your funds

Whether you are at home or abroad you access your cash 24 hours a day - 7 days a week.  Bishopstown Credit Union offers online access to accounts and also offers access to your funds via our globally accepted DEBIT card.

Flexible & Convenient Loans
Members can take out flexible loans and repay at tailor-made schedules.   All our loans are fully insured (at no extra cost to the member), against disability or death. Please note: New members will need to wait for a number of months before they can apply for loans. 

Dividend on Savings
Every year we pay a dividend on members savings, which are also placed in our Life Insurance scheme, offering a free insurance system on your savings.

You can be assured of a professional service from Bishopstown Union at all times.  As members of Bishopstown Credit Union we can avail of the latest in personal finance services, including a DEBIT card which is accepted worldwide, without paying transsaction fees.  You do not pay a transaction fee for saving with us, or borrowing money.

Pay ALL your bills with Bishopstown Credit Union

Do you want to pay all your bills in one place - hassle free?  You can now receive all electronic payments into your Bishopstown Credit Union account.  From salries to Children's Allowance, we accept them all.  You can pay all your utility bills from your account and other direct debits and standing orders can also be set up.
