Bishopstown Credit Union allows people in the community to come together to save and borrow money at low rates. It is operated on a not-for-profit basis, with surpluses being returned to members in the form of yearly dividends.
Joining Bishopstown Credit Union is the best decision you could make for your money. People who live, work or study in the Bishopstown and surrounding areas are entitled to join.
To become a Member of this innovative organisation, you will need to call to one of the Bishopstown Credit Union offices. You need to bring the following documents with you:
- Photo ID (e.g. Passport or Drivers Licence)
- Proof of Address (e.g. Utility Bill or Statement from a Financial Institution dated within the last 6 months)
- Proof of PPSN (e.g. Payslip, P60 etc.)
- €10 to activate Membership
The proof of ID, address and PPSN is to ensure that Bishopstown Credit Union complies with all Money Laundering legislation.
Please Note: If you do not live in the Bishopstown area, you will need to provide proof that you work or study in the area. Proof can take the form of a payslip from an organisation in the area or an I.D. card from CIT or UCC etc.
